Assistant Property Manager

An Assistant Property Manager , you will be the first point of contact for all residents, guests, staff, vendors, and visitors to our community. We are looking for someone to work in a team environment while providing exceptional customer service and a high level of professionalism. The Assistant Property Manager with be assiting The Property manager in all aspects of creating and presenting the community in a compelling way and assisting prospective residents with finding the right home, resulting in happy residents! We want our residents to come home with confidence to Skaff Apartments.

Full Time Schedule within the Hours of:

M-F: 9:00am-6:00pm

Sat: 10:00am - 4:00pm (Every Other)

Full-Time - 40 hours

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Answering phone calls
• Responding to inquiry emails
• Scheduling and performing tours of available units
• Assist with advertising and marketing of properties.
• Communicating criteria and application process details
• Process applications and complete lease paperwork for new residents
• Process renewal paperwork and routine documents for current residents
• Complete move ins and move outs with residents
• Complete property inspections
• Comply with fair housing laws and requirements
• Assist Property Manager with tasks
• Assist manager with the training of new Leasing Specialists. Provide work direction and support to leasing specialists in the manager’s absence.

This position will require you to have a valid driver’s license, reliable and insured vehicle, and willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Education and/or Experience:

• 1-2 Years Property Management experience is a plus
• Ability to be organized and have attention to detail
• Must be able to work both independently and in a group setting
• Microsoft Office Knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel
• Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiar with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, Fair Housing, and employee safety.
